We have a few top tips from our Landscapers to help you take care of your Garden this January.. 

• Repair lawn edges around flower & shrub borders using an edging iron (half moon), slicing down the edge of the grass will slow down the encroachment of grass roots from spreading into the border
• Dig over your vegetable plot, the coming frosts will help break down any large lumps of soil & help aerate it
• Mulching borders will help suppress spring weeds & also protect any new growth from the frosts
• Clear away those last few leaves
• Bare rooted roses & shrubs can still be planted
• Keep bird feeders topped up, the winter berries will soon come to an end
• Clean out & sterilise greenhouses including shelves & tools
• if you have a pond- an old ball placed in the water will stop the pond from freezing over completely 
• Have mowers serviced ready for the first cut
