Here are a few things you can do in your Gardens this November to keep it in top shape over the Winter..

• Clear away leaves from lawns, beds and ponds
• This is the last month for planting out spring flowering bulbs
• Tidy up perennials and remove any dead, unsightly top growth
• To prevent containers from becoming waterlogged- raise up onto feet
• Bubblewrap containers to insulate them from frost
• Mulch any tender plants such as hardy fuchsias, phygelius and agapanthus
• Reduce the watering and feeding of indoor plants
• Keep up with your bird feed and fresh water this winter, it will encourage birds in the coming months and you should see a whole new flock next spring
