Watford Borough Council are in the process of planning economic policy & developing a number of sector specific plans for the local authority region.

As part of this process, they are aiming to proactively engage with businesses in Watford and to develop ongoing and meaningful relationships which will help to facilitate a two-way conversation between the council and the business community.

This work will focus particularly on three of the four main sectors & the final sector will be approached differently through existing partnerships and work.

The three sectors which are in scope for this work are:

• Creative and Screen
• Health Service & Supply and Medical
• Professional Business Services

The objective is to engage businesses with this exercise and arrange face-to-face meetings to discuss business needs & priorities.

This is an ideal opportunity to help shape future economic policy and business support in Watford.
