We would like to invite you and your organisation to a number of exciting Careers Events coming up this year at Croxley Danes School.  

Our goal is to provide the best possible Careers experience for our young people and preparing them for life beyond school.

We are seeking employers and businesses that are currently looking to engage with young people who have not yet decided on subject choices or careers and give our students an insight on information about job sectors, growth areas and jobs where their knowledge is limited. 

These Careers events will give our students an insight as to what you are looking for from young people and how that relates to teacher’s expectations of them and hear up to date information about the World of Work beyond school.

We would be grateful if you could participate in one or more of the events below.

• Year 9 Careers Fair Tuesday 12th May 6pm-7.30pm Croxley Danes School (our brand new site!) Aim is for our students to experience face to face encounters will employers/FE/HE and highlight opportunities for them post 16.

• Enterprise and Careers Day Friday 12th June 8.30-3.30 Croxley Danes School, lunch will be provided. Aim- Host a number of workshops throughout the day to give students a hands on experience of what it’s like to work in your industry and a chance to ask questions in that field of work.

• Year 9 Speed Networking Day Friday 12th June 8.30-3.30 Croxley Danes School, lunch will be provided. Aim – short 10-minute slots for students to ask questions and gain information about your industry and the world of work.
